Frequently asked questions
Clear answers before you specify the machine.
Searchable, rich-text answers covering selection, installation, products, commercial terms and technical support.
Selection
What information is needed to recommend laundry equipment?
Provide the application, daily dry linen volume, operating hours, textile categories, utilities, room dimensions, installation location and target automation. Photos or a floor plan help identify access and service constraints.
- Application and textile mix
- Daily dry-load volume and operating hours
- Power, water, drainage, heating and ventilation
- Room plan, access route and destination
How do I calculate the right washer capacity?
Start with dry kilograms per day and productive operating hours. Then account for peak demand, realistic cycle times, loading efficiency, textile separation and redundancy. The washer, dryer and finishing stages should be checked as one process.
Can you design a complete laundry line?
Laundry Aide can discuss a coordinated equipment flow covering washing, drying and finishing. A useful proposal requires verified throughput, textile mix, utilities, room layout, staffing and target process.
Products
Which washer extractor capacities are available?
The supplied photo archive includes commercial and industrial examples marked 25 kg and 100 kg, with other capacities visible across the product family. Current availability must be confirmed against the latest product list and data sheet.
What heating sources can a tumble dryer use?
Depending on the current model and market, projects may consider steam, gas or electric heat. Confirm available utilities, local approvals, exhaust, make-up air and the selected model data sheet before deciding.
| Source | Confirm first |
|---|---|
| Steam | Pressure, flow and condensate arrangement |
| Gas | Fuel type, pressure, combustion air and approvals |
| Electric | Voltage, connected load and electrical capacity |
What is the difference between stacked dryer and stacked washer-dryer equipment?
A stacked dryer contains two drying pockets, while a stacked washer-dryer combines washing and drying vertically. State the required process, capacity, controls and utility conditions so the correct arrangement is quoted.
Installation
Does a washer extractor need a special foundation?
It depends on the machine type, operating forces and building. Hard-mount machines generally require a foundation designed for the selected model. Soft-mount machines isolate more vibration, but floor strength, anchoring and service clearances still need confirmation.
What site dimensions should I provide?
Provide room length, width and height; door and corridor dimensions; delivery route; machine positions; service clearances; drainage; ventilation; and utility entry points. Include stairs, elevators and turning restrictions.
Can the machine voltage and control language be customized?
Voltage, frequency, phase and control-language requirements should be stated before quotation. Feasibility depends on the selected model and current component options, and must be confirmed in the final configuration.
Commercial
Do you support OEM or ODM projects?
Laundry Aide supports project-based OEM and ODM discussion. Branding, cabinet details, controls, documentation, order quantity, compliance needs and service responsibilities should be agreed in writing.
What documents should be confirmed before ordering?
Request the final quotation, model data sheet, utility schedule, layout or installation drawing, option list, packing information, commercial terms and agreed inspection or acceptance scope.
- Final model and configuration
- Technical and utility data
- Installation and service clearance
- Packing and shipping scope
Support
How do I request troubleshooting support?
